Following the resolution of various legal issues, the Teaching and Research Practice (LeFoP) was established to, on the one hand, facilitate applied research in the field of diagnosis           and intervention for mental disorders and, on the other hand, offer practice-oriented teaching in accordance with international standards. In accordance with legal requirements regarding the university’s development (autonomy), the Teaching and Research Practice was run as a project starting in 2004 and was discontinued upon Prof. Kryspin-Exner’s retirement. It was continued by the Research, Teaching, and Practice Clinic (FLPA), established in 2017, which is now intended to facilitate cross-departmental applied research.
